The bridge lift is confirmed by the bridge operator by determining the required time of arrival (RTA), which is handed over to the master of the vessel by RIS or alternatively through radio station. The skipper communicates via RIS the time for crossing the railway bridge in Lužec nad Vltavou, and the current height of the fixed point of the vessel, including the cargo. If the height of this specified fixed point is more than 5.10 m, the skipper must state the time of passage for the road bridge in Vraňany or Lužec nad Vltavou, which he choses to sail first. The skipper must not sail into the strait of Lužec nad Vltavou - Mlčechvosty, in which he expects the bridge to be lifted until he receives the RTA for the bridges.
