| Guarantor of processing and distribution of official navigation waterways map in the Czech Republic is Státní plavební správa (National navigation authority). Subsequently during years 2002 - 2006 were provided complete digitizing of navigation maps. At the present time last verification is running and during year 2006 will be to full disposition for navigation public. |

Navigation map Inland ECDIS
| Navigation map in so called Inland ECDIS form is used for special navigation system, with which ship crew work directly in pilot cabin on PC. By main ground is standardized european form Inland ECDIS, which is unambiguously defined by Central Committee for Rhein navigation, European economy committee OSN and it is compulsory part of RIS. Its form appears from maritime form ECDIS, which is defined by organization IHO (International Hydrographic Organisation) in conjunction with IMO (international maritime union). With this maritime form is Inland ECDIS full compatibility, it is only extended by specific inforamtion for inland navigation waterways running.  At the present time is subsequently extended by maps, all european waterways net used for international navigation. Benefits of using digital Inland ECDIS map directly on ship board consists in automatic displacement and map orientation accurately according to ship position, whereas ship is displayed directly on map. Together with other items significantly facilitates ship navigation. All system is maximum adapted to captain needs - simple control and orientation on map. System enables connection with automatic received messages about water stages, restrictions etc. Universal use on waterways in all Europe is next contribution. During year 2006 will covered all waterways net in Czech Republic international interest. State navigation office provides verification of these sheets at the moment.
